The 50-member church choir from Jyväskylä, Finland, directed by Heikki Tynkkynen, toured Canada on the occasion of their 90th anniversary. Saint-Angar's Lutheran Church was lucky to be chosen as one of the venues for their free performance, as we joined with our brethren of the Finnish Lutheran Church in a joint service [See Full Text of the service].
The choir performed during the service, then met with the congregation during a welcoming luncheon, and finally gave us a one-hour concert in the early afternoon.
