Proposed and organized by the Montreal Lutheran Council, the Montreal Joint-Lutheran Picnic was held in Saint-Lazaire on a sunny Sunday afternoon in June. Parishioners gathered from all the Lutheran congregations in Montreal. An outdoor service was held. Each family brought their own food. There were group events, such as bean bag toss, soccer game and tug-of-war. Most of the children spend the afternoon at the pool.
