The Moms & Tots group was started in 1998 as an outreach program to reach families with young children. It was attended by members of St. Ansgar's community, as well as by members of the community at large. During the regular season about 8 children attended between the ages of newborn and five years old. They came with their mothers, fathers or grandmothers every Wednesday morning between 10:00 and 12:00 hours. During the summer months (July and August), the get-togethers were informal and the families met in a park or perhaps even in someone's home. The Moms & Tots group offered the children an opportunity to socialize with other children of approximately the same age, and it offered the parents the opportunity to exchange ideas on parenting with each other.(For more information call the church office at 514-486-5404 )
