The loan has been paid off. Many thanks for those who contributed to the Building Fund during the years 2007-2011. We were able to retire the loan one year early!

It never ends! Now we need a new roof on Beck Hall. Donations are gratefully accepted.

The View Before

A Building in Trouble!

The concrete and stucco on the outer walls of the main sanctuary were seriously cracked. Something had to be done soon, or water would leak in and further damage the structure. These walls had not been touched since the building was built in 1964! The lack of insulation was causing the heat to escape from the entire surface. It was often quite chilly in the sanctuary in the winter time.

Many solutions were looked at. It was finally decided to contract with Chisolm-Abcor Renovations, after having visited several of their existing work sites and having seen the quality of their work. They came in mid-September, placing insulation and new concrete, and were done in just a few weeks.

It was not an inexpensive undertaking!
