Although Samuel King-Kabu actually began serving at St. Ansgar's in September of 1998, his official call was to serve the new, two-point parish comprising St. Ansgar's Lutheran Church in NDG and Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in St. Lambert. When this parish disolved, St. Ansgar's issued a new call to Samuel, to serve as pastor for St. Ansgar's alone. This call was accepted and Samuel was re-installed as pastor on October 24, 2004.
